![]() When I attempted to specify the resolution/size (tested at 1000) in gimp, it was bigger - but pixelated. Please explain what program I should be using, where I may be going wrong, and a step by step to fix this. With the latest release this no longer works. The lines of the bubbles have a bit of transparency to them so I want to be able to see the background through it if possible. ![]() I want to be able to edit the background/background colors (which seems like it should be transparent) and edit and/or remove the text. ![]() Next, bring this DXF into SOLIDWORKS by opening the DXF in SOLIDWORKS preferably as a 2D sketch Follow the screen prompts Once completed, you should see the sketch in SOLIDWORKS Please check the sketch as with any file conversion, you can get overlapping errors. However, there is still some issue with opening eps files via the Inkscape GUI. So I guess the workaround is to open eps files through Terminal. I've tried a bunch of different things, but I don't exactly know what I'm doing. Open the SVG in Inkscape and then choose Save as and save it as a DXF. Using the terminal to call inkscape testfile.eps yields several errors, but does eventually show the PDF Import Settings dialog window, and the import is successful using the default settings. (gimp on the left zoomed in inkscape on the right) I wanted to design a wallpaper, (I was starting with a 1280x1024 size), so I downloaded this graphic from freepik but I cannot figure out how to edit it.įirst I loaded it into GIMP using ghostscript but the EPS file came out tinyĪnd then I tried to load it through Inkscape, but it either came out tiny like above or lost quality (pixelated) ![]()
